It's body is ~7 inches long and that was a 3 1/2 to 4 inch katydid. It took him about 20 minutes to swallow that much.

I'll let someone more qualified tell me what species of penguin it is but at a rough guess, a Calotes mystaceus or Asian blue head. At this time of year they start to look bleached out. It was funny watching it gulp and slowly inflate like a balloon.

I read that and had to scroll back up to the pic thinking.. "penguin?... wha???" then I realized. LOL very funny.
