Hey there, I have a rapidly growing L. Parahybana who I recently moved from a vial (not sure of it's exact size) to a baby food jar. In his vial he burrowed a lot but now he's making a lot of webbing. Would it be alright to place a small hid in there? If so, what would work well?
For the record he's about 3/4"
Thanks everyone :)

Use a leaf, dried, not green. Free and exceptionally easy to locate.

I offer a leaf, and a cut piece of a drinking straw (normal size for the really small ones, super-thick ones for the larger). The straw gives them a place to scurry to if they get scared until they have the webbing/burrowing done. They'll eventually just start ignoring the straw all together.

The cool thing about the leaf is that when they attack beneath it, the leaf shutters like the velociraptors moving through the weeds in "Jurassic Park".
