How do they do this?

My little B. albopilosum sling has built a burrow at the bottom of its tub but with no sign of web to hold it in place. It has plenty room to scuttle around in there and is fully visible all the time. Substrate is moved round daily but why doesn't it collapse?

This little curly really fascinates me.

Holding it up to daylight you can see right through to the other side of the tub.

Because it is just moist and compacted enough to hold up. They dig very little at a time so it doesn't collapse immediately.
