Here are some pictures of my collection, hope you enjoy!

Androctonus amoreuxi 1.1 (I have 1 male and 4 females in total)










Androctonus australis "hector" 0.1 (Locality: Tunisia)




Another A. australis "hector" 0.1 (Locality: Tunisia) (I have 3 in total) she is coming up for a molt.

Is Androctonus your favorite genus? I haven't had scorpions in a long time. I think I prefer desert/arid species or at least focus on them if I were to get back into it.

Yes, Androctonus is by far my favourite genus. They are so interesting to observe, they are very active (for Scorpions) and they are gorgeous. I only started collecting again this year, I did have a nice Androctonus collection a few years ago, but sold them when I moved house. I'm glad I have started collecting them again, it is such an addictive hobby! I do prefer desert species, the only genus I am interested in that requires high humidity is Tityus.

I agree with this sentiment - I have had various forest species (still have a few) but any new species I obtain these days are desert/arid. Overall easier to care for and often more active.
