What species of pinktoes?

What species is the "birdeater"?

Neither tell us much useful information, scientific names help A LOT. Dozens of pinktoe species and so many with that birteater moniker in their common names its not even funny. I'm thinking its a Lasiorda parayabana judging from the pic, but several species, especially in that genus, look quite similar.

Nice pics...and t's of course. It is a great pic of the MM Avic, I'd have guessed it was juvenile.

Thanks I wish I could give you more scientific names I've only been a tarantula enthusiast for two months. Although I have done much research there is still more to do.

Because there are mislabelled pictures all over the internet it is helpful to post the scientific name and where possible a size(a measured molt is always good) with each photo or photo group if you happen to get a few pics of your T. Take a quick read here

Sorry I missed your post above. Dont worry you will get into it. The best thing I can recommand is find out their names when you buy them and make a note of it somewhere. Memorize it if possible(this also comes with time) especially if you didnt take biology and your spelling sucks(reference to myself )

Here are some good starting places... Google is mightier than the sword :D
