I rehoused my ~2.5" LP (Terror) on Sept 26 & he promptly sealed the entrance to his new retreat shut. I thought it was just nervousness over his new home but he never opened the door back up. Luckily for me, he got the substrate to seal himself in by digging to the edge of his enclosure so I could still check on him. After a couple weeks I noticed a slight darkening & knew he was heading towards a molt. Fast forward to this past Sun & I came home from lunch to find this...

I quickly set up my video camera & threw it on record till I ran out of memory card (was heading out of town for the day). After about 2 hours of very small wiggling the action started & over the next 90 minutes or so he worked his way out. I missed him rolling back onto his feet when the memory card ran out & the angle isn't the best (couldn't exactly ask him to stop & reposition for me) but here's (almost) the whole thing sped up 16x.

Yeah, that was pretty confusing the first time. :D

Second attempt was a lot more interesting and cooler.
