My Smithi has now become the strangest T I currently own. She (bought as a "guaranteed female" ages ago from Swift's) has been climbing the walls around her cage and refusing to eat for a while now, even though her abdomen's rather undersized. She even seems to do this for whole days/nights at a time. She's around 3-4" and molted around a month ago. I am having this problem with none of my other spiders. I don't know what to do.

Pictures of her setup would help...plus parameters like temps, substrate, hides, cagesize, the like...

Sounds like the behavior of a newly matured male?
Like Storm said...Pic's of the spider and enclosure would be helpful.

I was thinking the same thing. Definitely pics of the setup/spider and the parameters.

Sounds like MM behaviour, although 3-4" sounds too small for a smithi to hook out. I suppose I've had some pretty midget MMs in the past though. Pictures of the spider and enclosure would confirm or deny this assumption
