Lampropelma sp. 'Borneo' sexual dimorphism

Lampropelma sp. 'Borneo' males start showing tarsus and metatarsus coloring early as two inches.

2" Male

Leg I tarsus and metatarsus

2" Female

Leg I tarsus and metatarsus

By 3" the males other legs have gained the colors.........

3" Female

When the boys mature.......there's no doubt on the sex.

I mentioned this a while back in a post,I measured the specimen at 6cm and noted females become black from the tip of the toe upwards. I am glad to see I am not the only one that has observed it,and the female of these are absolutely stunning.

I'd expect a solid 8" from a female....smaller for the males, obviously.

So very similar to L. Violaceopes.. That's a large specimen
