I'm sorry this thread is in the wrong place but I posted it in tarantula ID and didn't get any comments...This was labeled Goliath birdeater so I'm assuming it's a Theraphosa stirmi. Can someone please confirm this?

I dunno. Is that hair on the patellae I see? If so, it could be a blondi. Stirmi has bald patellae if I remember correctly.

Stirmi doesn't have long hairs on the patella. With stirmi being the only Theraphosa being imported as w/c these days, and the one most easily bred by far, 99% of the Theraphosa you see will be stirmi.

Id guess itd be stirmi but without a clear unglared pic i dont think any of us can even give 65% of a personal confirmation
