Got some new Ts today. An a avicularia and c fimbriatus. Yay. This is about the c fimbriatus. What are your experiences with them as slings? Growth rate? I've of course done my reading but I like firsthand accounts:biggrin:

I think both are medium to fast growth rate. Higher temps, more feeding will always cause faster growth. Hungrier Ts helps , some just eat a lot more.

C. fimbriatus are medium growers. Mine gained 2 inches in a year. You won't see it much but as they get bigger they spend more time above ground. They will cover every inch of their enclosure in webbing, so leave them space to do so and you won't regret it. They are temperamental and will stridulate if provoked.

It's only about half an inch but has nice color already. It started webbing up it's enclosure. Can't wait til it grows.
