42 days ago we successfully paired "Bonnie and Clyde". Still no sac from her, but she has been eating well so no sign of molting. She seems to be getting larger on the back end hoping for a sac soon!!!

On another trail we paired Clyde and a new avic. She was on the smaller side not sure if she's mature. Anyway Clyde went right to her web and drummed and seemed to start kneeing her web. For 15 mins he used her web as if it was his sperm web. Is this normal? I haven't seen him make a new sperm web in about three days. I eventually broke them up. He chased her, she ran. He held on then things almost got nasty. She tried to bite him four times... Unfortunately they did not mate, but at least Clyde is still alive.

I guess my patience is running thin. How much longer must I wait!!!

All the research I've done indicated that a Avics on average take 38 days

UPDATE!! My a avic is currently making a curtain on the bottom of her enclosure. She has closed herself off.. Is this a sign of molting or about to produce a sac?
