thrigmopoeus psychedelicus from India, seems to be a new species, wondering if anyone has it in the European/American hobby? Probably the best looking T I have seen.

I believe they were described back in August. I don't think they are in the hobby but if they are, not many. With such a new and pretty T, they will cost an arm and a leg when or if they do hit the US market.

Yeah no doubt they would be expensive but you know what they say. when a new species is discovered there is always a few Europeans packing their bags and heading over to that country lol.

Is it possibly a cross spieces? Kind of a taboo subject however, I can't seem to put my finger on it. New spieces or cross spieces very attractive T. (Personally thinks it bears a lot of much resemblance of pokes or A. Versi.)

Distribution and natural history: the new species
lives in burrows ca. 0.609 meters deep with a tubular
extension made up of soil and leaves. Horizontal
burrows of juveniles were mostly seen along roadside
mud embankments (Fig. 5), whereas adults were found
mostly in deep and vertical burrows. The female
holotype was found in a burrow along a road

That is a neat looking T. Looks like it's wearing a silk suit.

I'm just waiting for the Chilobrachys sp. "electric blue" to hit the market. Spiderworld.eu posted pics of it some time ago on their FB page.
