1/2 sling pre molt?

It's not premolt. Slings usually need to be pretty plump to trigger a molt. The bigger they get, the longer the premolt stage lasts, and the longer the molt itself takes. They'll slow down on eating when they kept cool.

Try killing that [giant] cricket, maybe it will eat it. I agree with poec.

Yeah, i have one sling who is a real pussy :)! He is the only one of my slings who wont eat crickets as big as his abdomen (or even a bit bigger). I give him prekilled crickets or i search the tiniest pinead that i can find :p!

Something else is to blame for it not eating..its not in premolt..its abdomen would be shiny and swollen..as coldblood said that cricket is huge..take the cricket out for a day(the t is probably stressed from being chased around by godzilla ) so let it relax..feed the cricket tonight and put it back in there tomorrow night smushed or cut down the middle ..your t will probably mosey over and get its nom nom on...
