It's amazing how different three sibling slings can be. My three 1/2" to 3/4" pulchra slings have quite different behaviors.
Sling 1 is calm, eats greedily and quickly, and has rearranged all the substrate almost daily.
Sling 2 is skittish as can be and likes to run around with its abdomen in the air. It ate a prekilled cricket last week but is refusing this week. It also has only excavated a tiny little hole in the corner. Guess it could be in premolt, but it's hard to tell with such a small, dark sling.
Sling 3 is calm, eats fine, but likes to hold its prey for an extended period while standing on its tiptoes. It also has done some impressive excavation, but nothing like sling 1.
I didn't expect such variation in their behaviors!
