Feeding excitement

Tonight was tarantula feeding night but by the time I Was done I had 2 spare crickets. Decided to give them to my Lepomis cyanellus (green sunfish). I got quite the shock when the fish jumped out of the water and grabbed that cricket right off the tongs, lol, that got my adrenaline going. I put the second cricket in the water and it was swimming around and one of my Polypterus senegalus (Senegal Bichers) came up to the surface and bam! that cricket was gone. Didn't really expect that since they usually feed from the bottom. Fun night :biggrin:

My fish love crickets and superworms. I watched my oscar swim around with this giant worm sticking out of it's mouth like a cigarette. Cichlids are awesome!
