View attachment 134768 I've done some research on my new scorpion and it was sold to me as "Asian forest scorpion"
Which I've looked at and choose was h spinifer. I've tried looking into physical characteristics for spinifer but just haven't found it.

Now I'm guessing if I correctly identified the scorpion, as it has a green hue to its entire body and the only scorpion I have seen that has info on that is the emperor scorpion. I'll get a couple pics when I get home but if anyone has heard of this or is common please let me know.

Definitely a Heterometrus species. They can indeed have a green-ish hue to them in the right lighting.

It's certainly Heterometrus. The pincers alone can give it away. They do have large pincers, yes, but emperors (along with their entire genus Pandinus) have notably robust, stout, and muscular pincers. Heterometrus species have powerful pincers, but they're more elongated and not as robust as the pincers found in the Pandinus genus.
