Was wondering what everyone preferred type of substrate combination they use for obligated burrowers?
I just think I should probably add that yes I have soil, jungle mix, coco fiber, vermiculite and have mixed different ways for different ts. I'm just looking for ways that others have used that they have found to be really effective and hopefully find better ways to tweek what I'm doing now.

I use 3 parts sifted topsoil to 1 part peat for mine. While filling a new enclosure I add some sphagnum moss and firmly pack it. Also put a layer of sphagnum on top for them to incorporate in their burrow. In the H. lividum enclosures, I've added vermiculite to help retain moisture.

I use either jungle mix or just straight topsoil like poec....I've never mixed anything and I think doing so is unnecessary.
