Decent guide. Amazing how quickly prices change, eh? ~600 bucks for an adult female A. metallica in 2009, and now they can be found for around 250-350. Supply and demand...thankfully all those great hobbyists breeding Ts :)

$250 for an A.metallica? No way I'd pay that much :) . Maybe for a P.metallica!

Thanks for the link! One thing I'd modify is that hanuma is actually closest in appearance to striata, not fasciata. Their ranges are near each other's. Hanuma's native to the tip of SE India, and striata to the tip of SW India, and are obviously closely related to each other.

Other Poecs closely related are ornata and rufilata, tigrina and formosa, and regalis and striata.

At one point long ago there many have been one Poec species, and as populations were separated by mountains forming (from the collision of the Indian subcontinent into Asia) and rising sea levels from thawings during interglacial periods, genetic drift gradually occurred and new species developed.
