Here are our T's, the G. porteri is named Stig, and she is a 5.5", and an approximately 5 year old female. She is due for a molt sometime in the future and hasn't been eating for a while. The skin on her abdomen is turning quite a bit more black than it was when these photos were taken. The B. albopilosum is named Bear. Bear is younger, about 3-4 years old according to the individual who we got her from recently, and about 4.5" in size.

Stig, the G. porteri is an extremely docile Grammostola and is relatively active. The reason I am wearing a glove in the photo is because she refuses to walk onto skin, although she will walk straight onto a glove. This can be handy when moving her as she doesn't crawl up my arm. Bear, the B. albopilosum is very sedentary, and actually quite skittish when disturbed, but she never throws a threat pose of any kind. We are quite surprised at the "personality" difference between the Grammostola and Brachypelma species. They act and respond to stimulus in very different ways.

How do they look?
