Brachypelm emilia not eating

Hi All,
I bought my B.emilia in september it's a 0.5 inch body length but he/she has eaten just once since then(second day after i got him/her). I've set her/him in enclosure with 5 inch deep substrate and the temperature always is from 23 C to 26 C. Is this behavior normal for a B.emilia, and if it is in pre-molt,does a pre-molt can take so long? I'm a newbie to the hobby and this is my second T.

Premolt can take quite a while, especially for Brachypelma. Several weeks or even longer isn't unusual. Assuming it is in premolt check out this thread as things progress:

I had a G. Pulchripes sling the same size do the exact same thing. He refused food from Nov- Feb, molting twice, and then started taking prekilled. Just giv him a little time, and make sure he always has fresh water. Tarantulas act weird sometimes.
