They came from Sprouts farmer's market. They are for human consumption. A lot of them are dying off. However, more of them are pupping. The mealworms originated from walmart. There fishing section. And that the majority of them are big. 1-2 inches. Some are less than that. What is wrong?

Well, just for a laugh since I got to wondering about the quality and purity of oats once... Tested by the European Union fussy folks, these harmless blorts of starch, carbs, and fiber MAY also contain the pesticide components Methyl Paraoxon, bicycloheptene dicarboximide, piperonyl butoxide, methoprene, dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene, phenothrin, and the ever popular malathion.

Be aware, trace amounts of pesticides are completely acceptable in the US where the agribusiness lobbyists run and rule the governmen regulators*, as the above. This is not the case in Europe.

Might be a good idea to change their diet. Just in case.

*According to the USDA/FDA, precooked prepared foods like TV dinners etc may not contain more than ~6% filth. Insect parts are also strictly regulated: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Food_Defect_Action_Levels
