Okay, guys. I have a question. Many, many years ago I used to breed Hissers. I stopped breeding them, (Therefor stopped using a certain slick barrier.)

But now I'm going to start breeding another climbing roach. Well.. I used to use Bug Stop, by Proexotics.... But since their unfortunate accident, I can no longer purchase the item. Do any of you have any ideas for replacement?

Vaseline?

I heard Olive Oil has a lot of upkeep, and it's not cheap, around here.

Vaseline is what I use to keep my roaches in, it works like a charm. The only issue I have is during cleaning when I dump the frass and all the nasty stuff gets stuck to it and I have to scrape it off by hand...
Another thing i have heard works (which I personally haven't used) is a layer of packaging tape around the rim. It apparently works just fine.
