A male millipede is missing the legs on his 7th segment, thats where his gonopods are. A female has normal legs on the 7th segment. In some species, the male's 7th segment is bulges out too.
Breeding size depends on the species. I don't know any sure-fire ways to tell when they're ready, though.
Oh thank you!! The "cuddling" doesn't seem to be belly to belly, but they are almost constantly intertwined, it's adorable but I honestly don't really want any plings. So, like I said... Free pedes for all lol
