Does anyone know how Asian Forest Scorpions are collected for pet trade? Are the local villages collecting them for wages? ie. Amazonia villages collecting Tropical Fish for the pet trade in exchange for wages. Or are a lot of these seized from the food market as were the chelonians were back in the early 2000's? I also ask because there are several species of " Asian forest Scorpions " and there is no data or latin name attached to them when they come into the country. It's just a hodge podge of scorpions.

It's probably a mixture of both. Sometimes you can see them with indented body parts, so I'd assume they aren't well taken care of either way.

I would assume it depends on the collector and or seller, most Asian scopions do have Latin names it's just that the seller or collector is either unable or just to lazy to correctly identify them.
