So I just recently got an H.saulcy. I've been keeping it dry, at 78f (day) to 70f (night), with a water dish. Is this fine or should I adjust something? There doesn't seem to be much information regarding these guys.

Saulcyi for me.. :)

No need for a waterdish. proper misting would suffice.

I've raised the temperature to ~85f to ~80f (cool spot) in the day. Would that be fine? If not I can get it hotter, but it just seems a little weird since most scorpions (I've seen) are hiding away in cooler micro-habitats during the day.

I keep mine at 90,but I don't see why 85 wouldn't be ok.If you notice its not eating good.You can always try something different.

Well he (assuming he due to the long "feelers". Don't quite know the jargon yet) eats well at room temp (70F) from when I first got him.

Hey hey

H.saulcyi = Hairy metasoma like H. gentili
H. minusalta = Smooth metasoma like H. jayakari.

The first id as H. saulcyi was wrong.

Greetings
Mark
