Large native NV spiders?

I couldn't get a clear picture because this crazy arachnid I just saw wouldn't stay still. It somewhat resembled that photo though. Just curious if any of your smarties may know what native Nevada spider is massive, like at least 2-3" dls with a very strange formation sticking out parallel to the ground coming out of the mouth/head area. This thing actually scared me ha I wish I could have got a deli cup and some clear photos because I've never seen anything like this before. Any input or guesses on what it is greatly appreciated!

Mature male Kukulcania, probably K utahana, which is very common in Nevada.
