Calisoga (false tarantula) distribution question

I collected what I believe is a false tarantula (Calisoga sp.) in the Santa Ana Mountains, Riverside Co., last night while conducting a nocturnal survey for the endangered arroyo toad (which I also found btw). I took the specimen to the University of Riverside Entomological Research Museum and although the Theraphodidae collection was out on loan, I had the collections manager also confirm that it appeared to be a false tarantula. Does anyone know if this genus has been collected anywhere else in SoCal? All the pics I've found online are from significantly north of where I collected this one. Any input from those in the know would be greatly appreciated.

You probably found a mature male Aptostichus atomarius, which can be confused for calisoga, due to their metallic brass color

Calisoga does not occur this far south

Do you have pics?

Here's one I collected early this year:

That thing is so crazy looking, Smokehound. How large do those get?

Still pretty sizable. Huh, might have to get a few of these someday.

...Still waiting on that pic, or even a response. Im also kinda confused, considering if one were to look for Calisoga, they'd be examining a Nemesiidae collection, and not a Theraphosidae collection.. :\

My money is on Aptostichus.
