I am getting a female 1.5-2" c darlingi next week and im wondering when is big enough for adult housing? Can I do that right away or do I wait? What size container do you use? Thanks
my understanding with darlingis is they do not handle transfers well, so what I did with my ONE darling I ever owned was transfer it to super large Kritter Keeper when it was about the size of yours. Mine adjusted just fine and matured out in to a beautiful male in there. I posted in another post a pic of the enclosure. only problem I had was I put a smaller KK in the center so the Darlingi had to burrow on the outside edges of the enclosure. and as he grew there wasn't enough room for him to reach the bottom of his tunnel anymore, which then got pretty dirty with boluses and sheds. so try not to do that. also this is one story with the one and only darling I ever owned so take it with a grain of salt, my darling might have been just a weird one. yours could be different.
