Ok, I got a h. incei and its still small, I put the t in a deli cup with a small bottle cap water, but the substrate stays damp...its not totally wet but if feels...I don't know...to damp??... I use Dragon Coco ground. You mix it with water etc. I don't have to explain I gues with al those pro's around here, so, How bad is it for a h. incei if the substrate stays damp?

If it has adequate ventilation, it should be fine.

Does the water in the water bottle cap seem to evaporate overnight? Could be water wicking out of cap. Replace cap with another and see if problem persist. My tarantulas web over there water dishes all the time sometimes you can't see the webbing but it is there and it pulls the water right up out of the dish. I stock up on caps just for this reason.
