Hex Fish Tanks

Has anyone here converted a hex fish tank into a tarantula enclosure? If so, what mods did you make and what did you do to cover the top? Pics would be excellent!

I'm currently not using it so I don't have pics but I have altered this one when I found a one cheap once. Works for small arboreals. The actual top on this fits pretty snug so it didn't take many modifications.

My old roommate had one that he housed a p irminia in. It worked fine but I would personally prefer a square one for better viewing. It had glass lid with some screen. Sorry no pics.

Friend used a 60 gal or so hex for some Avics, worked well for her, unsure of mods if any.
