I got my first Pterinochilus murinus a year ago April. He was 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. I was amazed after his last molt that tibial hooks were
evident. Today I observed what I think was his sperm web. It seems surprising to think he matured in 18 months.

This is pretty typical of the species and a number of others within Harpactirinae. Just another positive from my (current) favorite species

Murinus males typically mature in 10 to 15 months.

I've had males go from sling to maturity in 10 to 12 months.

They grow like weed unlike their big brothers/sisters Pelinobius muticus.
