Aquarium ideas for an eco and communal tank?

What fish would you recommend to keep together with angelfish and what plants to have? I will be getting a 1.5m*45cm*65cm tank with a sump.

You could probably keep neon tetras in there. It would also depend on if the angel fish will be in a pair or not.

What is that, like 110 gallons? That's a great size for a community. If you're set on Angels (go Discus! but yeah, they're more fragile) I'd go with neons or cardinals (I like cardinals more), some bristle nosed plecos, panda corydoras and maybe some ottocinclus. You can also try hatchet fish. I find them pretty awesome, very cool top dwellers. Would make a nice little South American setup, especially if you plant it nicely .

Nah decided to do the following since angels can be aggresive: neons, danios, pearl gouramis (1m, 3f) and plecos and still thinking about what else . About 112gallons

Id go with one male betta too... awesome fish.... or a harem of females
