P. smithi hybrid?

Hello! I bought this spider as a female P. smithi about a week ago. She's bought from a person who has pure specimens and breeds his females with his own males. Everything is great - she's healthy and molted successfully in my care. There is one problem. I'm not an expert but I've looked at every segment of her legs, her carapace (I know it's not the best way) and she looks identical to P. smithi except the color of the femurs of her legs. They have to be almost completely black but with her it's like someone has erased a portion of the black and she has white stripes. Her mother doesn't have the white - she's a typical smithi. Is it possible that it's a genetical mutation? Thank you in advance.

I was going to say the exact same thing, looks like a P. tigrinawesseli to me

I also think you got a mislabeled specimen. You can give her to me if you don't want her ;) *hint hint*.. hehe JK

She was floating on air. Any guesses what she is on from the second photo?

One of those pics is a regalis, Jose :p

Genetical mutation is out of the question for now, she's just flat out mislabeled or a hybrid. She has the typical for smithi spear end on her folio, with subfusca having an axe-looking end.

I meant the previous post... Nevermind.
I think he wanted to say that tigrinawesseli has a subfusca - like folio. Or like the one of P. miranda. P. smithi's folio is like regalis.

You meant that one? If you look at the femurs of the 4 hind legs you'll see the banding is different than that of a tigrina, and resembles more that of a vittata.
