I wonder how long these will stay in that genus. Despite my past statements, by now I'm getting the feeling that Euathlus is indeed a "parking" genus somehow...

LINK (Nelson Ferretti, 2015)

"Euathlus diamante Ferretti sp. nov., E. sagei Ferretti sp. nov., and E. tenebrarum Ferretti sp. nov. are described from the Mendoza and Neuquén provinces of western Argentina. "

Thanks - makes me wonder how this can even be published when Euathlus is for undescribed species is my understanding.

Makes no sense to me.

B smithi used to be a Euathlus too.
