Mites!!!! removal

Hiya I have just had to remove mites from one of my juvenile ornata its my own fault really I noticed mites a couple of weeks ago but allowed the enclosure to dry out and dident check the beast now it look as if the problem has esculated should be ok I think I have caught it in time just need to see if the specimen feeds of not :unsure:

mites really suck @$$. Were you able to remove them all. I hope your T will eat, it should pull through

the mites odn't usually bither the T unless they are parasitic which I dout most likel the ones well all get here in the uk for the crickes we feed them. the only time imo will mites really cause a proble is if the get too much and get ito the T's book lungs or if it's a spiderling. The mites arn't feeding on the spider just the prey remains round it's fangs. Try out the vasalene technique I posted in reply to this on the BTS it worked for me when I had a really bad mite outbreak
