George has been the most laid back boa that I have ever had the pleasure to keep. I bought him a few months ago as a skinny little neonate in a bad situation. The little tike is now around two foot long, kinda chubby and if a snake can like attention he's a perfect example. The little bugger will actually come out of his shelter when I enter the room and roam the cage until I take him out.

THAT is one smokin' tail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D The fact that he's laid back is a surpising too! Most bcc are high strung, prefer to be left alone and hide most of the time in comparison to an imperator.

Oh no, they are not housed together. The kid in the background is Graham, actually I have him and Autumn(my other chondro) housed in seperate rubbermaid containers for the next few weeks on top of the pictured tank... which is George's place now.

Here's Autumn, I love this girl, she's mean as a rattlesnake with everyone but me now...

Here's the current set-up. This will change next weekend with the addition of a couple Bates cages for the chondros...

By the way Yve,
Ive only had one snappy BCC, she was a WC Guyana imported directly to me. She bled me a lot but I can't relate that to any CB BCC that I have ever encountered, and I've handled quite a few. In my experience, high pink and designer BCI are much more aggressive as neonates... go figure.

That is one GLOWING tail... from the photos it almost looks waxy, like cellophane. My BCI doesn't even have an inkling of red on his body.

beautiful chondros:)....
I didn't mean to say that bcc's were aggresive...but less relaxed....like a colombian boa will sit with you very calmly for..well....like forever:).....red tails are more of a mover and a shaker(generally speaking)..lol....my bcc is tense when out....not aggresive at all...just moving around alot until she finds either a high perch or a good hide...then she'll settle down. I've heard they tend to mellow out when older, mine is only around 3
