Mantis id...?

It is a species of Sphodromantis, probably S. lineola. One of my favorites!

Is there any chance of ruling out that it might be a Parasphendale sp? 'Cause that's what the seller thought it might be...

I guess identification will be alot easier when it reaches maturity.

Its actually a Sphrodomantis gastrica. You can tell by the way it has 4 dots along the first section of each forearm. Also whoever told you this is a parasphendale is probably not best to buy from if they do not even know the names of what they are selling...

Well, mantids are not easy to come by here in Norway, so you you pretty much have to be happy as long as they have managed to label it "mantis". It's kinda sad, but better than no mantids at all :eek:
