In long, the American cockroach is able to survive most pesticides, drought, famine, heat cold, and nuclear war. Chances are good that it has come into contact with something that would otherwise kill a normal bug, but to which it is resistant. There would be no way to know whether or not it is harboring some kind of nasty business for your centipede until its too late. This goes for pretty much any wild-caught prey items... if you truly want to feed roaches, buy from a reputable supplier and breed your own, they're easy as pie. If you just want to see if your Scolo will eat it... yes, it will, and no, you're not allowed to post if something bad happens.
