I have a West African millipede. Told that the latin name is "Lulus Terrestris", but I haven't got this confirmed.
I'ts chocolate brown, lighter on the stomach and between the segments. Not pure dark/light striped as many others, but more random.
Very light legs, and striped white/brown antennas.

Q's:
Anyone have a common name for this?
What temperature should I keep for him?
Where would be his natural environment? (Foret, desert, ...?

Anyone know of a good supplier in Europe? I'd like to have more millipedes, but the assortment in Sweden isn't that large :(

I'd have to see a pic to tell you the common or latin name.
But i can tell you that it is prob. a forest dweller. and a temp. of 70--82f should be fine. and a large water dish(big watwr drinkers)

good luck

Thank you! Good info.

70-80°F=21-27°C, right?

I have some pictures, however I didn't shoot them - they were stolen from somewhere, (whish I knew where, so I could ask the author)

My milli looks very much like these.
About 146 millimeters long.

*No lemme see how I attach some pics here...*

Did it work?
