hello-
do cockroaches help with poop removal?
the balls could start to add/pile up in a tank. but if they have babies (see other thread), I don't want to clean up remove material.

HALP!! ;)

Not that I know of. Cockroaches produce a fair amount of waste themselves.

The poop (frass) doesn't hurt anything, really it's the perfect millipede substrate! What we call "soil" is largely the excretions of animals like earthworms and millipedes anyway. If you really feel you must do something about it, scoop it out and put it in a seperate holding container and keep it for a few months and check for babies periodically. If nothing turns up, it's probably safe to toss it..or use it in the garden!
