Hello, I have watched the LD50 levels of Androtonus family and I see that "more inoffensive" it´s the A.bicolor.
I see the A.australis, A.crassicauda, A.aeneas, A.amoreuxi, A.mauretanicus and A.bicolor, the bicolor is the more inoffensive of them??
Can you confirm that??

Thansks to all!!!

Inoffensive? you mean least venemous?
I believe they are, but LD50 measurements aren't always a good indication.

I think A. Aeneas is a subspecies from A. Bicolor.
But i would have no idea wich is the most inoffensive. i don't own androctonus sp. But i believe A. Bicolor and A. Australis are pretty agressive ones.

hello pakito, i think , of all androctonus , the bicolor it,s the least dangerous and toxic,
i think so, and y look the venom list ld50 and say the same.
i you want buy one androctonus, in this sense it,s the best, he have 1,21, and the other androctonus have all least of 1.
0,31, 0,32, 0,75 etc... i think it,s a big Difference.
See you

hola :)

if you want an Androctonus species, then get which ever you want, either way you dont want to get stung by ANY of the species, so you should be keeping each species with the same amount of care (safety)
