I was wondering what the average life span was for the A.Avic
(PinkToe) male&female? I currently bought one pinktoe from a local petstore and tried sexing it myself and well my guess is male. I've read that males dont live long. Any Responses

Honestly, I don't think anyone could give you an honest answer. The males seem to just die spontaniously, usually after a couple months after their final moult. Also, for both sexes I think, it all comes down to the temperature you keep them at. Lower temperatures slows down the metabolism, allowing a longer lifespan to be had. It's really just impossible to give you a rock solid answer.

Dont quote me, but from what Ive heard, Female avics live to be about 10 (tree spiders dont live nearly as long as terrestrials), whereas the male of course dont live nearly as long. Id guess males may make it to 4 years?
