A few weeks ago, the 4.5inch rosie at my school turned black. For the past two weeks, it has mostly been on between 2 and 4 legs, pressed up against the side of the terrarium. The last time it molted was over the summer a few years back, so i really dont have a lot of expereince with molting ts. I thought maybe its trying to stretch or something? Is this normal? Just my luck it will probably molt this weekend, but when its done at least i will be able to sex it. :D Sry i dont have a pic, but please give me your thoughts

If the abdomen is turning black, it's in pre-molt.

It could molt today, it could molt a month or so from now. If you see it spinning a molting mat you'll know it's just about time.

If its any help, the first time I noticed my sub adult Chile Rose's abdomen go black she moulted three weeks later, however yours will probably differ but just as a rough idea ;)
