hi all,

there are loads of pics of T's in threat posture, do pedes have a threat posture 2???if so, can someone put some pics up to see? also can someone put some pics up of the 'business end' of the pedes, so we can get a good look at those bitey bits???

Usually when my pedes get into a threat posture its their heads raised and also their back raised with their terminal legs ready to grab on to something.

They don't have a threat posture in the same way as tarantulas do, but if you agitate them enough they will often stick their terminal legs in the air. They probably do this to draw attention away from their head, so that if they are attacked by a larger predator, there is more chance of escape. I don't have any photos of it. If you want photos of mouthparts, try using the search function, i'm pretty sure there are a few threads with mouthpart photos.
