Argiope Aurantia

I collected one yesterday and had plans to try to get it to construct a web in my house. After a failed attempt and then some better planning, I put her in a cabinet type area that has sliding glass doors and a light at the top (my parents old house, mom used to keep plants in there). Anyways, I took out all the shelves and put her in there. Now I have a nice orb web in my kitchen. I'll try to get a digi cam so I can take pics of the setup.

Sounds awesome, can't wait for pics. Has it set up a web at all yet? Once it does are you going to leave the cabinet open all the time? It shouldn't leave it's web once it makes one.

Yes, she's already constucted a web. I leave one of them open in hopes that some of the damned flying insects that come in my kitchen will end up there =P
