Those of you in and around Chicago may be familiar with a herpetologist named Jim Nesci. He does presentations at schools, reptile shows, etc. and has been in the business for years.

It is with a heavy heart that I relay the news that his American alligator "Bubba" died this past Saturday. Brian Potter, of the Chicago Reptile House, does a much better job than I can describing Bubba's contributions to the reptile hobby. His announcement can be read at kingsnake.com, under "On the boards".

Ohh that is sad to hear! I hate hearing news like that... My Bubba rest in peace..... :(

Wow. I just saw him at a reptile show a few weeks ago. How sad that he's gone now. :(
