Those of you in and around Chicago may be familiar with a herpetologist named Jim Nesci. He does presentations at schools, reptile shows, etc. and has been in the business for years.
It is with a heavy heart that I relay the news that his American alligator "Bubba" died this past Saturday. Brian Potter, of the Chicago Reptile House, does a much better job than I can describing Bubba's contributions to the reptile hobby. His announcement can be read at kingsnake.com, under "On the boards".
So why should you care that an alligator died? Go read Brian Potter's post at kingsnake & you'll see why.
And thanks for reading mine.
