molting question

can someone describe as best that they can the molting process of scorps (specifically emperors if you can) from behavior before to the actual process? one of m emps is actin kinda wierd (wierd to me cause im still a little new to this).

My emp just started doing some new things this past week. All of a sudden it has decided to dig a burrow under the water bowl in the middle of the tank...throwing substrate up along the backside of the tank. It has yet to come out in the past two days, before this it was fine hiding behind a cup that I use a fogger in or under a rock formation I have in the tank. I'm fairly new to this too so I'm not sure if this is a precursor to a molt or what.
