Central American scolopendrids

i'm looking for articles on centipedes (scolopendrid centipedes)
from Central America, mainland,... not the Caribbean islands.
anyone who has more info on the distribution and spec. occur in:
Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Panama,..etc...

Hey Steven,
Alot of tarantulas have been imported into the US from Mexico and central America in the past but I have never seen any Scolopendra. I read somewhere that Scolopendra Heros could extend into central America but never seen anything official. I don't think we have any Mexican board members to ask. Too bad....good question though ! :confused:

I found this on a web site by Dr. Shelly:

Species occurring in both the United States and Mexico:

Scolopendra viridis - ranges southward through Mexico and Central America to Panama.
S. polymorpha
S. heros
Arthrorhabdus pygmaeus
Scolopocryptops gracilis - in Mexico, occurring only in Baja California Norté.
Theatops posticus - in Mexico, known only from Chihuahua, Sonora, and Baja California Norté.

i also read somewhere Sc.viridis ranges even towards Columbia.
seems a bit disapointing to know Central America only houses the same scolopendra spec. as North America don't ya think :?

would be intresting to know if they vary in colormorphs or not ?
