best places to find scorpions( cali/nevada)

my girlfriend and I are planning a vacation probably around june. were gonna come from b.c. all the way down to the tip of california, and possibly back through nevada, and south east california. anyone know of good places to go to search for scorpions?? i am definately going to search for scorps but it might help if i had a good idea of what parts of cali/ nevada are the best.

Don't expect to find scoprions in Cali...unless you're out in the middle of nowhere...like on the way to Vegas hehehe.

ya i will definately be going through that area. coming from L.A. back up towards arizona. you find any scorps around where you live?
